One Week Service Trip to Costa Rica (Saturday to following Sunday)

Day 1

Sample Itinerary Day 1

Arrive in the capital city of San Jose, Costa Rica. Experience first-hand the traditional music and dances-- maybe even give it a try yourself!

Day 2

Sample Itinerary Day 2

Try some unusual tropical fruits at the farmer's market, walk on the crater of Irazu Volcano, and visit the Cartago Cathedral that draws 2 million pilgrims on August 2 each year.

Day 3

Assist with after-school social programs such as English, computer, and sports classes for low-income children.

Day 4

Help out with improvements to the social program facilities for impoverished Costa Ricans. Paint a school wall or rebuild a fence.

Day 5

Offer your hand at any and all projects for which the children's or senior citizen's centers need help.

Day 6

Bring donations and food for the children and families living on less than $1 a day. Help prepare and serve the food.

Day 7

Give back to those who have given so much. Spend time and serve food at a day-care for senior citizens.

Take a day off for team bonding and relaxation on Costa Rica's tropical beaches. Enjoy the warm water, white sand, and beautiful palm trees.
